Dancing May

Theresa May's wooden dance moves have been well documented over the years. Who could forget her awkward jig across the stage to ABBA’s Dancing Queen during the 2018 Conservative Party Conference? Yet May has apparently had lessons since stepping back from Number 10. Rory Stewart, her former Cabinet colleague turned podcaster, says May dominated the dance floor at his recent 50th birthday party.

Stewart claims May was the first up with him when the ceilidh dancing began at the bash, held earlier this year in Scotland. “I really did think she was pretty good,” Stewart said on his Rest Is Politics podcast, “I was impressed.”
