Over the last few days a large number of the racist and violent thugs have started appearing in the magistrates courts.
As is the usual case, take away the mask, balaclavas, weapons, alcohol and fellow thugs and they are left naked and weak.
I am delighted to see that the magistrates are not falling for the sob stories.
A sobbing company director, a thug who chanted 'who the f*** is Allah' and a 15-year-old boy who threw a paving slab at a man's head are among dozens of rioting suspects to appear in court today.
Poor baby Joe MacKenzie, a 28-year-old from Darlington who works for his father's kitchen fitting business, dabbed his eyes with a handkerchief as he was told he would be remanded in custody for his alleged part in Sunday's rioting in Middlesbrough.

MacKenzie is accused of being among around 20 men wearing balaclavas and face coverings who clashed with police. Magistrates in Teesside heard he yelled 'We are taking over, I f***ing hate you c***s' at police while swigging from a can of lager.
Leanne Hodgson above told magistrates she had an 'alcohol problem' and suffered from poor mental health. She pushed a wheelie bin at police in Sunderland
Leanne Hodgson, 43, admitted violent disorder after pushing a wheelie bin at police in Sunderland. She was also remanded in custody, as her lawyer told magistrates that she had an 'alcohol problem' and suffered from poor mental health.
I have every sympathy for alcoholics and people suffering with their mental health but I have no sympathy for Hodgson, it is to easy to use such illnesses when confront with the law.
Her mental health didn’t stop her getting involved or was that the alcohol - again I’m glad she is in custody.
Hopefully those thinking about committing racist attacks, vandalism etc will think twice.
They attack the police and call them all the names but when the lowlife need help who do they call ? The Police
Our police throughout the country are doing a fantastic job in such difficult circumstances but yet coming under attack.
I applaud our police forces.
