Braverman on two-child benefit

Suella Braverman has called for the two-child benefit cap to be scrapped, saying the policy is “aggravating child poverty”.

She said many families do not know about the limit before having their third or fourth children, while half of those hit are single-parent families who are disproportionately affected.

She said: “As a result the policy has pushed more children into relative poverty and forced more families to use food banks.

Braverman as usual talks tripe, her statement is a bit contradicting because if parents have a third child and know they are not getting the benefit for the child, they will know the same applies to the fourth.

People have a choice in how many children they have, people with common sense only have the number they can afford to feed, educate etc.

On the other hand we have some who seem to have children as an occupation with the aim of claiming benefits, housing, etc etc.

I am in a same sex relationship with no children and we get no benefit for not having children but expected to pay towards Johnny and Fanny who have six or more, don’t work and living a decent lifestyle.

Many of us are feeling the effect of prices increases etc and we have to juggle a bit not just expect more benefits.
